Description:

Family: Lycaenidae. Subfamily: Theclinae. Length: 25 mm. Wingspan: 22-35 mm. One tail on hindwing. Color: Upperside gray with large red/orange spot near tail. Summer form is pale gray. Adult food: Nectar from variety of plants including goldenrod, milkweed, dogbane, white clover.
