Description:

This moth is about 5 cms long and as it can be seen, it has bright and colorful wings, although they are dark under.

Habitat:

I have seen them almost every night in the Slopes of Pasochoa Volcano, at about 3.300 Meters over sea level

Very beautiful! I would have guessed a Ctenuchid! :)
Erebidae, Arctiinae, Arctiini, Chrysocale regalis. http://www.pbase.com/splluk/image/142588198 After an intense search I found it again. I remember I had IDed this one on PN a long time ago, but was a little bit sceptic about finding it again...
