Description:

My favorite lichen.. white in the center, and a lovely rosy red around the edges. When they are round, it looks like a wreath. Hence the name "Christmas Lichen". Around here they are found mostly on scrub oak species.

Habitat:

Sand Pine Scrub, Lake Eaton, Ocala National Forest, Florida
