Field Notes

Description:

Juvenile deer about 2.5 or 3 feet tall at shoulders.

Habitat:

Spotted in a clearing between a building and deciduous woods.

Notes:

This was my last spotting of the day and the first upload. I've had trouble capturing these all summer. I've been lucky the last 2 days. I'm glad I thought to take a short video. There was a Doe and at least 2 other juveniles. I took the pics before the video. When I approached the clearing the doe bolted in one direction and the juveniles in the opposite direction. I was between the doe and juveniles.
