You're right about the headaches, and some of the subspecies don't look all that much like other subspecies of the same species! Since I was leaning toward Heliconius ethilla (I hadn't worked on subfamily yet) I favor Heliconius ethilla thielei that you suggested. Thank-you Dominik!

Tricky one! I think it is Heliconius ethilla thielei. Please, verify. You almost get a headache by comparing all these Heliconians. Heliconius hecale ssp. looks very similar.
