haha, I don't even let other to kill spiders :D wow, scary!!!
That's very nice to take them out, instead to slap them with slipper as usually people do :D here in Croatia this spider is harmless, we don't even consider that it is poisonous :D we have here in Dalmatia the Black widow, it's the most poisonous spider of Europe, and it's very common in stonewalls...
and you're lucky that you saw such a beautiful specimen!! :) These are the most poisinous spiders in my country! :D I'm OK with the small ones (those who don't look scary), some look scary even if they are tiny in size :D and then I use some kind of a jar to carry them away! :D :))
i have never seen this one in nature, so was so happy when i saw it eating "something"...just like you, i never touch spiders, once i read that they all are poisonous or their venom causes unsightly allergic reaction on skin...
Yes, they are huge!!! I sometime have these or others from Araneus species in my garden and it is hard not no notice them :D but I feel a bit unconfortable living with them, so I carry them (in a jar) to the forest :D (don't touch them, they are a bit poisinous)!
Thank you very much, spiders are mystery to me so i believe the suggestion is correct :D also, this one is pretty big, about 2 cm in length...
This one is very beautiful and light! :)) But the color may vary, so it is normal ;)
