Description:

Also known as the 'Velvet Mapipire' in Trinidad, this snake grows to a max. length of 5 feet. Their name originates from their appearance, as ridges on their scales refract light to produce all colours of the rainbow.

Habitat:

Tend to live in very bushy areas, particulary in dark areas under brushes and in trees at times. Some also can be found in swampy areas.
