Description:

Large bird with a very Long Neck and Slim head.

Habitat:

Spotted In the Cuyabeno Reserve, Near the small Village of Zabalo.

Notes:

AKA: pájaro serpiente americano, pájaro cuello de serpiente, marbella americana, huizote o acoyotl.

While returning from a trip trying to photograph Harpy eagle fot the PCAHE in May 2010, near the area of Zabalo, we spotted this amazing bird from afar, unfortunately is the only shot I was able to get.
