Description:

This photo doesn't even do it justice. It was a beautiful, brilliant purple. See also http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/389966012 for more photos of the same mushrooms that my friend took photos of. Purple gills, stems purple but fade to white with age. The cap had wrinkles

Habitat:

Leafy floor at Spring Hammock Preserve

Notes:

The third photo was of a mushroom very close to this one that was a similar purple color, but it may or may not be the same fungi.
