Field Notes

Description:

Small (10 cm high) solitary herb with basal leaves and two leaves on the flowering stem. Unlike this nearby Draba sp.spotting (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/38655101) leaves here are glabrous, and there are multiple flowers on the stem. Help with further ID appreciated.

Habitat:

Open, rocky soil, with little vegetation apart from moss. Mountain side.

Notes:

There are 8 species in the Genus Draba in Iceland. Possibly D. norvegica.
