Endemic to the wet forests and lowlands of the Golfo Dulce region in the south-western part of Costa Rica.
Conservation status: Endangered.
Seen at Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust Wildlife Park, Les Augrès Manor La Profonde Rue, Trinity JE3 5BP, Jersey
