Description:

This Phalaenopsis gigantea Orchid is known locally as Telinga Gajah, literally translated to Elephant Ears. This name is not referring to the flowers but the leafs, which can grow to 2 feet length on mature plant.

Phalaenopsis gigantea is endemic to Borneo and is the species of Phalaenopsis with the largest flower.
