Field Notes

Notes:

Can anyone help me definitively identify this species of cricket? From research it appears to have the scientific name Bradyporus dasypus, but I cannot find a definite common name. There are also several other scientific names http://www.catalogueoflife.org/annual-checklist/2012/details/species/id… including Locusta armadillo and Locusta rex. It was spotted in Negovanka, Bulgaria and was about 8cm with a metallic copper sheen.
