Description:
This is a Malayan Leaffish that i caught in small river in my backyard. This fish has about 7 cross bands on its body. It also has a spiny first dorsal fin. The size of this fish is about 80 mm in length.
Habitat:
- Caught in small river in my backyard. Usually, this fish can be found in large floodplain rivers to estuaries as well as lakes, ponds and swamps (in few countries in South-East Asia).
Notes:
- This fish is from the Nandidae family. It is a native freshwater fish in few countries in South-East Asia. It feeds on insects and plant matter.
