Field Notes

Description:

No feathers.
Blackish/brown color.
About the size of sparrows.
They move fast!
They swoop around starting in the evening.

Habitat:

Ive seen them by the river, I took these pictures 5 blocks up from the river. (The Potomac river).

Notes:

Pics taken around 7:30 pm.
There are a lot of them.

They look like swifts or swallows rather than bats.

Could you please change the common name to bat? The photos are not clear and close enough to determine a precise identification so the scientific name will have to be left blank. Also, you can change the category to mammal as bats are mammals. Thank you!
