Description:

Tiny frog under 1 inch. Light tan. Four back toes. Second photo shows size on my husbands gloved hand.

Habitat:

Grass.

By the way...I am a herpetologist. :-)
In the third pic you can see the triangle between the eyes and a faint pattern on the back. My guess is that he was cold.
They usually do...but not always. I promise this one is a spring peeper. :-)
Most books say the Spring Peeper has a large dark X on their backs and a dark bar between the eyes. That is why I am unable to identify this tiny frog. I really don't know if it is or not. Thanks. I am going to keep checking the ID on this little guy. Thanks Lisa.
