Description:
There are two snakes in this spotting, one has a more saturated pink, and the other is more salmon on the underside, both have purple black tops, and very flat heads. They have tiny eyes since they're mostly subterranean dwelling, hardly ever coming up to the surface. Extremely wiggly, both have a stiff point at the very end of their tail, but it's harmless.
Habitat:
Shaded backyard of a neighbor's house, mostly covered by tall trees. Found these two under a large tarp with not much under it but crickets (And a very well camouflaged Ring Neck Snake.). Right next to dense woods with a creek in it a ways away.
Notes:
I have never found one of these in my entire life, so seeing one was a HUGE surprise, but an awesome one. I was hoping for a snake when I flipped the tarp over. Surprise! Two of a kind you've never seen!
It was hard not to be almost completely sure of what they were as soon as I saw their heads and eyes.
