What is the approximate size of this ant, Sckel? I'd be happy if I could say that it is a Cabo Verde (Tucandeira, Bullet Ant), the Paraponera clavata or related subspecies, only by the admiration I have for this species. Sckel, this looks like an "içá", the female of leaf cutter ants (saúvas).

Queens are usually winged.
