Field Notes

Description:

Clearly a tortoise beetle but I can not find a species.
It is very distinctive with the red markings but a search of tortoise beetles has not found any similar ones. The photo describes it better than any words.

Habitat:

Forest area at around 1250 m in northern Peru.
