Description:
The second most common species of pit viper which seems to be rare because of it perfect camouflage. There are usually found among the leaves perfectly blending along with the leaves. They are venomous and recent studies have shown that if their bites left untreated would cause renal failure and excessive bleeding and lead to death.
Habitat:
Among leaf litter on forest floor perfectly camouflaged with only head slightly raised from the leaf litter.
