Description:

6-20 inches. White globular fungus (turning yellow-or olive-brown with age, from center onward) attached ti ground by a short cord. They have a powdery spore when stepped on.

Habitat:

open grassy area and woodland edges. This one was detatched and in a just mowed grassy field.
