My friends found it walking home from school and so I took a picture of it

Habitat:

We found it in a grass patch in a lawn

Notes:

I've never seen a praying mantis before so this is a really cool find for me

It looks like a Praying Mantis Mantis religosa Females are usually larger then the males with a heavier abdomen
