Description:

Wasp found feeding on aster chiloensis along with butterflies, honey bees other wasps.

Habitat:

Native garden in the Santa Cruz foothills at 300' elevation.

Notes:

Can't find picture with the same back pattern of this wasp. Do patterns vary amongst pollen wasps? Wasp was nervous of camera and difficult to photograph.
