Field Notes

Description:

Skunk was approximately 1 to 1.5 feet long from nose to tail. It has a white stripe that starts at the top of its head, splits at the neck, and extends down each side of its body.

Habitat:

It was an overcast rainy morning and ting in a grassy area adjacent to a heavily wooded area which also contains a stream.

Notes:

Took the picture from a distance and quickly retreated.
