Description:

"Issidae is a family of planthoppers described by Spinola in 1839, belonging to the order Hemiptera, suborder Auchenorrhyncha superfamily Fulgoroidea." Wikipedia.

Habitat:

Spotted in our backyard on an Eggplant (Solanum melongena) locally known as Talong.
