Description:
A beautiful moth with brown wings tinged with purple. Both fore wings had thin dark zigzag lines and the trailing margins were serrated. The Thorax was covered with brown setae and had a low-profile forward pointing "crest". Antennae were held under wings.
Habitat:
Spotted under bright lights near native trees.
Notes:
Caterpillar of these moths are said to feed on Acacia leaves. a very beautiful moth - like a lead-light lampshade!
