Description:
A flowering plant in the Asteraceae family. It's found in southwestern California and northwestern Mexico. Can grow to over 3 ft tall. The leaves have lance-shaped blades up to 5 centimeters long which are glandular and shiny with resin. The blades have smooth or shallowly toothed edges which are sometimes rolled under or crinkled.
Habitat:
Spotted at the Tijuana Slough National Wildlife Refuge.
