Field Notes

Description:

Predator skull, 4 1/4” long, 3” wide

Habitat:

Corn/soy fields

Notes:

Found outside in the dirt aligned with cornfield plow lines. Alternate crop was soy. The field was adjacent to a housing area’s gardening plots. Animal had access to a wide variety of food. Animal might have been killed by farming equipment. I am uncertain of the exact date I found the skull. There was no jawbone. I’ve had it all these years without knowing it’s identification.
