Description:

White, berry-like fuzzy flowers with leaves in a a basal rosette. The flowers have the slightest opening at the tip, but otherwise look very much like seeds or fruits

Habitat:

Sandy forest with oak, pine, and saw palmetto but also close to some wetter areas with cypress trees

I never would have gotten it if you hadn't included the second shot of the basal leaves!
Interesting! I didn't realize they were flower buds, though now it seem obvious.
