Field Notes

Description:

Brown, nearly flat cap. The cap has white, scattered patches of volva. White stem, flesh, and gills.

Habitat:

Growing on the ground in mixed, wet forest.

Notes:

This is probably either A. rhacopus and A. texasorora, but cannot be identified further without DNA analysis.
