Description:
The osprey - also known as sea hawk, sea eagle, fish eagle, river hawk, and fish hawk - is a large raptor.
Habitat:
It is found near areas of water that provide it ample fish and is located on every continent with the exception of Antarctica.
Notes:
This was one of two nesting osprey found atop a channel marker in Broad Bay, an inland bay containing brackish water, in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
