Field Notes

Description:

About 12mm long. Pitted blotchy elytra mostly pale pink with some darker patches. This one shows a distinct red tint in the pitting near it's lower margins.

Habitat:

This one was exploring the surface of a Ford SUV at night.

From what I read you would be sure to see at least one in NZ.
I am yet to see this one. You and Leuba seem to have the only PN spotting of these. I never thought this species was scarce.
