Field Notes

Description:

Friday the 13 th ..... this is a sort of flagship species in valparai nestled in western ghats ...with about 2000 only walking in wild ,photographing them helps me in talking about conservation to schoolkids and general public ..though taken off from list of endangered species ..the threat is ever present with roads now crisscrossing every forest and government's mantra of "development" at cost of environment in a country that depends on monsoon
