Description:

Some galls on an oak tree. While wasps do not actually build galls, they induce trees to create them for larval development

Habitat:

Pine and oak forest with many blackberries

Diamond Leaf Oak is my best guess, but I can't say for sure.

Do you know the species of Oak.Each species invariably has it's own species of Oak Gall Wasp. I'm a Brit so I'm not really up on American stuff.
