sorry, looked to me like hosta, but i'm not a botanist ;) i've deleted my suggestion
Yeah, I agree. I work as a gardener and some people I've worked with have called it "bishop's weed", which is cool and sort of whimsical, but I'm not sure what it is. I prefer to do this rather than look it up, though. Getting an ID is like Christmas :)
Hosta plants have purple flowers that are kind of dramatic -- I think it's something else.
