•It's one of the best known land snails.
•They are native to the Mediterranean area and western Europe, but it was introduced in temperate and subtropical areas worldwide.
•They eat plants and sometimes scavenge animal matter.

Habitat:

Temperate and subtropical areas
-I saw these snails in São Paulo (Brazil)
