Field Notes

Description:

A little smaller than the Glaucous-winged gulls as you can see in photo 3.
There were so many of them, but they made sure to stay a ways away from the boat. Seen in the company of Tufted Puffins and various gulls.

Habitat:

Open water quite a ways from the shore.

This looks a lot better for a dark morph (or "Pacific race") Northern Fulmar to me!
