Field Notes

Description:

Quite large, though very skinny spider with long legs with very very small eyes on a roundish body. Predators - they feed on snails, mites, spiders, centipede, insects. Sometimes they feed on fallen leaves or carrion.

Habitat:

On a wall in the house.

Notes:

Are very common in Slovenia. It is called "pozidni matija", because you usually see them on walls

In case you cannot pronounce those words, it's also known as a daddy long leg spider.
