even though im scared of the wasps Im going out to take more photos so bai!
Probably this one: http://identify.whatbird.com/obj/680/overview/Black-capped_Chickadee.aspx (I had to do a Google search on 'Chickadee' to find it... I have never seen a chickadee before and don't know anything about them!) So if it's a Black-capped Chickadee, the scientific name is Poecile atricapillus.
I cant find where it says the scientific name of a chickadee
yeah I could try! :) right now im scared to go outside there is a whole bunch of wasps outside one stung my mom three times yesterday so im kinda scared
Maybe you can borrow your Mum's camera if you PROMISE to put it away... ; )
you can tell my ipod does not take very good pictures
Oh okay thanks! I didnt know that, thanks for your help!
Hey Technopony, here are some links to websites on birds in Saskatchewan that might be of help to you. You can use them to look up the scientific names and add them to your spottings like this one of the chickadee (this is important because otherwise Project Noah thinks you haven't identified your spotting). http://www.whatbird.com/browse/objs/All/birds_na_147/38/Location/272/Saskatchewan http://www.birdcanada.com/birding-by-province/birding-sk/ As for your giant nest, I can't say for sure but it might have been a Bald Eagle or something similar - they build enormous nests. http://www.learner.org/jnorth/tm/eagle/NestAbout1.html http://identify.whatbird.com/obj/25/overview/Bald_Eagle.aspx
