Description:

American Robin is about 10 inches long with a wingspan of about 14 inches. The Robin has a brown back and a reddish-orange breast, varying from a rich red maroon to peachy orange.

Habitat:

Spotted this robin in our back yard at the feeder. He jumped up on the bird bath and posed for this picture. They are found all over North America, woodlands, open fields, mountains and deserts. They are migratory but here in Rio Rancho we have them year-round.
