@IanAyotte: According to Wikipedia, "... Misumena vatia is a species of crab spider with holarctic distribution. In North America, where it is the largest and best-known flower spider, it is called the goldenrod crab spider or flower (crab) spider...." So, goldenrod crab spider and flower (crab) spider are the same.

Can some people call it the goldenrod spider or are they different species because the goldenrod could be a type of crab spider
