I am still not sure on this one Doreen. You could try submitting it to BugGuide. I only found a couple that are completely pale: http://bugguide.net/node/view/918276 I have a lot of unidentified Sawfly larvae in my spottings as well. ;-)
How sweet. Now I know what the home, larva and grown up looks like. It feels good. You are going to town today. I appreciate it.
This is a Sawfly larva, possibly from Family Tenthredinidae, Common Sawflies. There are a couple of species that produce this white, waxy coating that makes them look as this one does. Do you happen to know on what it was feeding? http://bugguide.net/node/view/352348 http://bugguide.net/node/view/782757
