Species ID Suggestions

Thanks Mark and thanks Martin for the advice. Help with ID's would be great, can't wait to go walking again =)
I find them in small groups or singly between leaves that they stitch together. Clearly you have an infestation. I grew one to adult last year to confirm the species for my own interest. You'll get lots of help for ID's if that's your interest. It's good to add the Latin name (Mnesampela privata) when you know it so they come up in searches either way.
Thanks for the welcome Martin. My trees are covered in curled leaves and I've uncurled one to see what was inside. A friend ID'd them for me. I'm constantly taking pics of local fungi, bugs, plants and animals so you can imagine my excitement when I discovered Project Noah today!
Overwintering as a caterpillar is interesting. They are usually hiding inside the curled leaves. Nice observation. Welcome to PN. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/10313553
