Field Notes

Description:

I saw this squirrel at a bird feeder out my window. Squirrels are much easier for me to attract and photograph with my bird feeder. Squirrels will do anything for food!

Habitat:

Although black squirrels live in coniferous, deciduous, and mixed forests throughout Michigan, I didn't have to take a hike to see this one. I photographed it in my own backyard!
