Description:

A Painted Lady Butterfly, not seen that often here, the underside of the wings are dark without the usual orange. Family Nymphalidae.

Habitat:

Garden lights, semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, 2,200 meters. Had to use my iPhone on this one.
