An animal that I didn't even know existed - that is what is wonderful about Project Noah :) Great spotting!

Thank you all :D S Frazier : woow, I've never seen it gliding. I've only seen it two times during 2,5 months stay in my study site. I would love to see the photograph.
Mantap! I saw (and photographed) one "flying" once at Cagar Alam Rawa Danau, West Java. I still remember the thrill. Bravo!
Congrats! Slamet yaa.. Saya blom pernah nih diat di Indonesia.. Bagus :)
What a cool spot! Congratulations Marsya, this little-known mammal has earned you Spotting of the Day! The sunda flying lemur is a forest-dwelling animal with huge gliding membranes that enable it to make spectacular leaps from tree to tree in the Asian rainforests. I love these animals! I see them a lot in Singapore. Nice spotting, you don't often see them at day, as they are nocturnal. The local name for them, if you want to add this is, Colugo. :)
What an amazing looking creature!
