Description:

A rather large, brownish moth, its wings spotted with iridescent green scales giving it an attractive sheen in the correct light. The wingspan is 35–45 mm. The male has narrow feather-shaped antennae.The ring marks are bright, large and distinct.

Habitat:

Resting on the wall in a front porch.
