:D a bit too far for me.. but cheese pie sounds great! :) haha, maybe you should start with frog legs? they won't be so..... snaily :D
Hahah i guess sintija didn't like the idea, don't take her to France :). Jopy, I haven't tried snail but maybe at some point we should :D
Oh, yes, I remember your pink flower :) cheese and wine are ok, but snails!!?? omg, I never try it, can't put it in my mouth...grrrr....
Fireweeds are in France!! You can add them to your pie! :)
I think I should also have the spotting when it's flowering and you identified it but should be long time ago :). Yes a lot of cheese and wine and a bit of snails :)
When we go to France? :) I can't resist cheesy pie...btw. nice spotting, I have spotted this plant in flower, didn't upload it here but will soon :)
Not a fan of baguette but did get lost in the cheese section of the market so you two take jopy and come for a real cheesy pie :)
And so far, you are most familiar with the cheese-plant and the baguette-plant! There plants are very good to know in France... haha
woops, then maybe you won't be able to eat them in case you're lost in the French jungle :S But there are tons of other edible plants, so no worries :) That is so great!!!!
Haven't seen this plant here, yet. Oh and here is still summer, there are butterflies everywhere just a bit too active :).
:) pretty amazing that people really eat them so much!!!! and now I'm really considering to try them :D I also can't wait! :)
But girls also add some recipes :). Ehh already got some amazing french spottings but first I need to finish uploading the danish ones also got few amazing ones as a last :)
hahah guys thanks to you if one day i'm lost in the french jungle I will be able to find food :D
Great Sintija! Food for free :D Nice link!!!
Haha! Nope! Never... I enjoy your spottings too much for that... And I cant wait to se what you are goinf to find in France!!! :)
Thank you, Tiz, didn't know that! :) I found that " shoots are edible raw. young leaves are edible raw. flowers are edible raw. flower bud clusters can be cooked as vegetable. stem pith can be added to soups as thickener." http://northernbushcraft.com/plants/fireweed/notes.htm I can eat them whole summer, they are growing in huge amounts in my country! :D :)
Hahah again you came up with such idea, you are really trying to get rid of me :).
Hahaha! Well done Faredin! And since we are talking about this flower i have an other fact for you, the root is edible :)
I better update the spotting before someone else complains that had to read 5 comments :D
they are pretty when they have flowers, too :) (this is how they look after the flowering)
I was about to make an ID suggestion, and then I saw this comment! I very much agree with Wildsweld!!!
Looks to be Fireweed or Chamerion angustifolium. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chamerion_angustifolium
