Reddish Egret (White-Morph)

There is a large population of white-morph reddish egrets on the coast of extreme south TX, and they are white year round (doesn't mean nonbreeding as indicated below)

Yeah it can be a bit tricky with the herons/egrets. Nice spotting by the way! :)

I think this is a white morph Reddish Egret (nonbreeding) which is why it has a darker lore. Actually it is interesting because breeding season should still be going on for Reddish Egrets.It may not be breeding yet. I don't think it is a Little Egret due to it being uncommon and the lighter color extends far on the bill.
