Field Notes

Notes:

This spotting is of the same caterpillar as in this spotting, http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/394436025
It molted in between the 2 spottings on an avocado tree next to my house. The change in appearance is interesting. If I wouldn't have known otherwise, I would have thought them specimens of different species. When I first spotted it I was curious as to why it wasn't eating, but now I'm assuming it was preparing to molt as I found it eating avocado leaves after the molt.

Hi Sigg, an interesting spotting, especially taking the food plant into account...
